– More Info –

Because tango involves building muscle memory and feeling the movements in your body, repetition and attending class (or class and practica) twice per week will help students progress faster and retain more.

Beginners Class:

Each series follows a similar pattern of progression, offering useful repetition to hone these essential building blocks, as well as adding in new details and going more in-depth. The class is designed so that more experienced dancers and novices alike can benefit from working together*.

Intermediate Class:

An intense exploration of traditional tango movements, with a strong emphasis on technique for connection and improvisation, in order to build the dance together as one four-legged animal. (Instructor Permission required)

*Intermediate Class participants may stay for the Beginners Class at no additional cost!

PRACTICE, PRACTICE... The more practice, the better, and the quicker students will progress. There are practicas Tuesdays - Thursdays (we can go as a group some days after class). See for details.

Suggested attire: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that will not come off of your feet and that will allow you to spin/pivot easily. No partner necessary - just bring yourself!

– Private Lessons –

Gabriela Condrea teaches private lessons for beginning-advanced men, women, (follows, leads) and pairs and has done so all over the United States. Her focus is developing the connection, in the dance overall and in specific areas of difficulty. Gabriela's approach is holistic, seeking to shape her students' dance from the inside-out. In the more intimate setting of private instruction, she has the opportunity to address deeper issues particular to each individual or couple.
